Enamel
Once a piece of jewellery is created, well
cleaned and polished, we apply the enamel by using plumes. After a process of dehumidifying
we introduce the pieces into a special high temperature oven to vitrify. There is no method to mechanically help, each piece has to be enamelled individually by hand. The kiln temperature can reach 750 degrees centigrade depending upon which colour and kind of enamel is used.
The enamel we are using is basically transparent and contains less than two colours a piece.
Once out of the kiln, we control the quality and,
if satisfied, the piece will once again be hand polished.
